No-one likes doing tax returns. However, another tax year has just finished and you need to make sure your return is filed with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). There’s not much time to waste before the deadline, in April, for settling any liabilities you might have.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. Scottish football needs all the crowds it can get. Especially when we’re talking about Division One clubs such as East Fife. However, this is not a blatant attempt to bribe the good citizens of Methil into attendance at New Bayview. Rather, we’re looking at how the concept of Crowdfunding can make a tangible, financial difference to small businesses, of which East Fife FC is just one of many in Scotland.

There has been a rash of articles in the financial pages recently about the dangers of ‘copycat’ websites which may seem to be like the H M Revenue & Customs (HMRC) site but, once you’ve gone through the process of filing your return online with them, charge you a hefty sum for the privilege.
