With a general election now less than one week away, the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) and the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) have co-produced a summary of the tax policies currently being proposed by the Conservatives, Labour, SNP and Liberal Democrats. It makes for interesting reading, because each of the major parties are putting forward different ideas, which could result in significant changes to the current tax rates. M&S Accountancy and Taxation will be keeping a very keen eye on developments post-December 12th, so you can expect more content reflecting any announcements by whoever is voted in.

Meanwhile, the co-authored tax tracker can be found here (https://www.tax.org.uk/media-centre/blog/media-and-politics/2019-general-election-tax-tracker).
